Removing an IP address from the MAPS NML

Removals from the MAPS NML are determined on a case-by-case basis. Once a mailing list has been shown to confirm email addresses prior to adding them to the mailing list, a listed IP address can be removed from the MAPS NML.

Please review the Guidelines for Proper Mailing List Management to understand why you may have been listed on the MAPS NML. Please note that there is more then one way to confirm email addresses, and MAPS does not endorse any particular method. All we are looking for is to see that email addresses are being fully confirmed before they are added to your mailing list.

Once you have implemented a procedure to ensure that you have full confirmation for each email address on your mailing list, please contact the MAPS NML Team at nml@mail-abuse.com to request removal of your IP address from the MAPS NML.
